Network Marketing - Network Marketing and Building Relationships work2bfree - Feb 13, 2008 - 07:52 PM Post subject: Network Marketing and Building Relationships
I started network marketing about 6 months ago, so network marketing is fairly new to me.
When I first started, I thought that this would be a good venue for me because I would not have to talk to people. I am shy and it is sometimes hard to talk to people; especially those who are rude.
But, I have discovered during the past 2 or 3 months that in reality, network marketing is about building relationships with people. I assumed that because we are on the internet, that dealing with people could be avoided and one could still have a successful business. Well, this is not true.
To have a successful business you still must establish relationships with people. There are many various ways in which to do this; such as, posting to forums, participating in social networking sites, submitting articles, to name a few.
So, if someone ever tells you that you can join their business and not have to deal with people; such as calling or talking to people. This is not true. In order to have a successful business, in most cases, you have to establish relationships with people.
Oh, and despite the fact that I am shy, I still talk to people everyday. The more I do talk to people the better I get at it and the more my fear starts to dissipate.

We may be on the internet, but we're still human and we still value relationships whether real or virtual.

Building a relationship is a very important, it is said that even if we do not get a sale but are successful to have a good relation with the people, sooner or later the results will be worth watching. On top of that as we have maintained a good reputation we can also ask them for some references and they would not be in a mood to deny that.

Network Marketing about presenting yourself before the whole community and then built up a relationship. This is what would paves the path of better results in business. The better are your relationships with the people the more will be your chances to achieve a better position when ranked, among the others of your caliber.

The word-of-mouth marketing is a far more powerful and effective method of marketing, especially, when that message comes from those whom we know and trust!

Trustful relationship building is definitely the keystone to creating a lasting business. I definitely hesitate to do business with someone whom I just met or barely know their reputation. Your "Me Brand" and "Your Business Brand" are the two things people across forums, social media, and face to face networking will most scrutinize when they deal with you. If either of those seem shady in any way, you won't go far in forming a beneficial relationship with anyone. Basically everything we do outside of our own website or physical office space is your external branding and forming relationships is vital to that external branding. You can't and should not avoid speaking to people, it's just not how productive business is done.
