Post subject: Home Based Online Jobs
Hi All,

I have been thinking to make money on internet in my spare time sitting at home. Did a little research and found few options where I can make money, but my only fear is scam. Although the subscription fee they are charging is nominal. But the threats are greater like Crediit Card Hacking etc.

I want to take your views on online paid surveys, postal marketing and name list processors. What is a general perceptions about these options to make money online? Do people really make money out of these or not? How can i check that they are not scams? Are you guys aware of any sites that can help make money in my spare time? Any other idea on home based internet job would be appreciated.

To keep out the scam factor I choose the companies advertising on google or overture for home based work. How does that sound? The next obvious question is does google/overture bans someone doing scam? Some one advertisng on google or overture can be trusted or not?

Hi, Welcome to biz-whiz forum. Smile

I don't know anyone who is rich by taking online surveys. However you can join to free surveys which are recommended in this site. You could earn few dollars. If you are resident of US or Canada your earning potential would be more.

"Mail List Processing Job" is as good as "Ad Posting Job". you will be paid based on response or performance.
No Response, No Performance= No Income! Evil or Very Mad

But you have to pay Registration & Training (?) Fees. Sad

Internet Income is all about "Selling a Product/ Service" and "Recruiting Recruiters". Simple & Legal!

Be(a)ware: Google & Overture are search engines. It can have any types of programs regardless of Scam or Non-Scam

Before taking any action on the Internet please read this article first

hi,
if u are looking for some genuine legal home based business, i think this one is for u. i alreday paid registration fees for online surveys but didn't get paid for a single survey yet, so dont waste time and money on that. I am working as an associate with prepaid legal services inc. Its a public co. listed on NYSE. So u dont have to doubt about its legality. The business opportunity is great and can be done from home or anywhere. I do it from home as i have a 10 mth old baby. U also get all the tax benefits. Its really worth having a look at it as the compensation is good and the sky is the limit.

Many Thanks for teh clarification. Now I think much clearer about paid surveys. I also asked your views on stuffing envelopes jobs. I think they are real scams. And as far as Ad Posting Job is concerned I want you to read this article www.homebiztools.com/typists.htm. I know they are search engines. Since overture takes about a week before placing your ad. They check all the relevancy etc factors to your ad. Thats why i was asking a general perceptions of advertisers of SE's. Anyways I now understand that the popularity of home employment is there but the meaning is nearly lost.

Thanks, the url worked this time. I went through your suggested url and found it quite interesting. I have few queries to ask;

What is market potential of the product they are selling?

I donot live in United States. Can I be a Sales Associate?

What are major activities I have to perform to get paid? Please tell me in detail of each activity?

How much money are you making or have made so far?

Give me step by step details of the process after I pay them the $19.95 monthly subscription fee?

I don't have a Credit Card right now. Can i pay them via money check?

You can email me your response at fahadr19@yahoo.com if you like.

Thanks for the welcome and sorry for the late replication. Today I visited your website and have few questions to ask;

At this point of time I would go for online sales. But how would I make sure that my online marketing efforts are converted into sales to earn a commission?

Can you ship anywhere in the world?

How would I check that you are not scam considering that the fee you are charging is nominal? These days on internet nearly every one charges about the same fee as you are, and eventually they turn out to be fake.

What sort of support (marketing) you will provide to get the sales out of your members?

What would the websites like? Shopping cart, Doorway to your website or what??

How do I get Paid?

I don't have a Credit Card right now, Can I pay you via money order?

Have you considered the SFI affiliate program? It is the internets largest affiliate program with 8 million members and better yet it's FREE. For more information go to http://www.quickinfo247.com/8659485/free
Another option is to visit the advertising section of the forum or search for affiliate programs on google and as mentioned earlier surveys are a good idea for making money online, however the only problem being that in my experience they do not generate very much money.

Hello Keith,

Boy! its nice to hear you again. I thought I've lost you somewhere. I've sent you couple of emails but for some reason didnt get the answer. Yeah things going slowly but surely. I don't want to rush into an advertising campaign. I am taking my time to plan things out. I've gone through the Smart Start (Internet Income Course) twice and extracted the points for my advertising campaign. Have chosen IAHBE as my first product for selling. Now I am in the stage of my designing doorwaypages of each of target market segment. I am a bit confused about the content of my pages. I know the content would be such that should create an interest and curiosity for the product,. satisfy the concerns and build a realistic hope to earn money.

Can you tell me few resources where I can get free content for my page customized for Work at home moms and part time working moms.

I finally found a home business that works for me. I had been looking around trying various things for almost 7 months. I ran across an ad for Ameriplan and was skeptical. I did not pursue any info on it for couple weeks. I talked it over with wife and finally signed up.

You can market it online, offline or both like I do. You get people to sign up for discounted health benefits (dental, vision, prescription and chiropractic). You also can get brokers to sign up under you. You get paid daily for each person that signs up. They even pay in adavnce. As a broker you get the benefits for you and your family.

Visit the site and enter your information. Once you have entered your information you are sent to the main website and it tells you everything you need to know. The website is http://www.cmfarley.simpleasabc.com.

I have been able to quit my job and do this full time now. With my old job I was gone all the time and not around much for my daughter or my wife plus I get a residual income. I love the company and everything it has done for me. It is well worth looking into.

Hi

Making money from home has never been easier because of the
Internet! Within minutes, you can join a reputable affiliate
program and have your own website and marketing tools setup to
promote great products and earn huge commissions from the
comfort and convenience of your own home.

Each day, more than 160,000 people log on to the Internet for
the very first time looking for information and products to buy.
The marketplace is HUGE and getting bigger every second of the
day...

Marketing online is very easy. Whether it`s placing free online
classified ads, buying leads, writing and publishing articles,
posting in forums or using ppc search engines ... you can start
selling products online practically overnight even if you have
no previous experience, hate selling and don`t like talking on
the phone. (I don`t use the phone in my own business!)

Personally, I make a generous income working just a few
hours a day. The reason for my success is simple. I promote a
system that helps others succeed in this lucrative industry. By
helping others make money online, I get paid a small percentage
of the profits they earn. By helping thousands of people reach
their own goals, I`ve been able to reach my own.

If you`re interested in making extra money from home and would
like to receive my support to make it happen, visit my website
below and follow the 3 easy steps to get started today:
http://www.theworkathomesuccessbusiness.com/turnkey-website.html

"Most people give up just when they`re about to achieve success.
They quit on the one yard line. They give up at the last minute
of the game, one foot from a winning touchdown."

-- H. Ross Perot

Don`t let this happen to you! You deserve the best and I`ve
created a system which can help you achieve it!

There are ways that you can earn extra money working part time, but of the things you mentioned surveys are the only area I would pursue. You mentioned nominal fees and that raises a red flag for me. There are plenty of survey companies out there that don't charge a fee. I have some recommendations here:
http://www.2work-at-home.com/extramoney.shtml

Keep in mind that these are truly ways to earn a little extra money, just a few bucks. You're not going to earn an income taking surveys.

As far as name processors, email processing, ad placing, compiling, etc., etc., I would not recommend them. What you're basically doing is either making someone else money by performing the extraordinarily tedious task of posting ads for them while they pay you pennies, OR you are trolling the Internet for email addresses so that they can spam them. Not only that, but you are often asked to pay some kind of fee for the privelege of doing this...

This is what I tell people when they are out there searching answers on starting a business opportunity...

Too many people are looking for that get rich quick scheme. I've heard many people state.. I didn't realize I was going to have to actually do work. Let me ask you this? Can a corporation offer you unlimited income? Of course you have to work hard at running your own business! You own your own business. The difference is you are working hard for yourself instead of making someone else rich. So what if you have to put a little elbow grease into it.

Network marketing or direct sales is a way to achieve a high income without someone putting caps on your potential. Are there bad companies out there? YES. Was it my fault for not doing my due diligence? YES.

I wanted to get involved with Network marketing because I saw it as a way to earn residual income. Do the work once and get paid over and over instead of doing the work and getting paid once. It just makes good business sense.

The first company I got involved with (I jumped right in) was a start up company. I recruited 31 people in 2 1/2 months. I was making great money & then they changed the pay plan. Sneaky little start up. I went from $2000 a month residual income to $31.00 a month. Lesson learned. Warm contact list burned.

The second company was so poorly mismanaged they couldn't track the payroll or the downlines. They robbed me of $2700 in commissions then fell off the face of the earth. Lesson learned.

I still knew residuals were the way to go so I continued doing research. It took me three years and many mistakes to find the right company and now I've walked away from a six figure job to do this full time.

Don't keep looking for these small time penny anti paid to take survey type of jobs. The amount of effort you spend bouncing around from one program to the next you could have been investing in a REAL company with a SOLID background.

You just have to figure out what you want and then do your due diligence. If you don't want a garage full of inventory or want to be driving around making deliveries, then do a service based MLM or one that drop ships. If you can't imagine spending the rest of your life selling vitamins, then don't get involved with that kind of company. Although there are many, many people extremely wealthy off of these types of companies they may not be for you. You have to work hard and believe in what you are doing or it won't work.

Thanks to network marketing I've paved the financial road not just for my children but for my children's children. What corporation allows you to do that?

Speaking of corporations, you have your President/CEO on top, then maybe a VP or COO under him, then your line of managers under them, all the way down to your worker bees on the bottom. That's a nice little pyramid they have going and those poor little worker bees on the bottom will never have a chance at a 6 or 7 figure income.

At least network marketing offers that chance. What you do with it is up to you. And by all means, DO YOUR RESEARCH FIRST!

Excellent advice, Connie. I started my current business with money made through an MLM. It's unfortunate that the unethical companies have given the entire industry a bad rap. You hit the nail on the head though when you said:

As long as there are still people looking for easy money, there will be a market for unethical companies.

Personally, I wouldn't do it. It looks like a copycat of freestoreclub.com

I was with them for a while. They have a good system and products are OK but too many people sign up with these things and sell the stuff on ebay so it's hard to make any money.

I didn't like freestoreclub and I was only paying $10 per month for that. I think $50 per month is way too much unless you really know what you are doing and think you will be able to sell a lot.

The BBB online reliability program is a division of the BBB itself. Basically it is an organization that regulates businesses. If someone is in then they are probably not a scam.

It also tells about complaints they receive. Don't take it to literally though because I believe businesses just have to pay to be in it.

My Friends I have found The greatest website for Home Based Online Jobs Exclamation Exclamation Exclamation

Freelance Work Exchange Exclamation Exclamation Exclamation

How to Start a Freelance Career

Work at Home and Earn an Excellent Income

Imagine being able to work from your own home, doing a job you love, and getting paid handsomely for doing it. Wouldn't that be great?

Well, the good news is that this is not just a fantasy. It is a prospect that is well within your reach. Today, millions of people worldwide have established highly-successful careers as freelance professionals. Writers, designers, programmers and many other home-based consultants have discovered that freelancing offers the perfect combination of freedom, creativity, flexibility and profitability.

So do you need years of experience and fantastic qualifications to join these lucky people? Not at all. You just need a skill that you can offer to potential clients, and the willingness to learn how to run a home-based business.

Of course, the biggest challenge for new freelancers is finding enough work to justify giving up a day job. How can you be sure that you will keep yourself busy with lucrative work? This used to be a concern, but thanks to the advent of the Internet, things are now much easier.

Now there are a number of job sites dedicated to helping freelancers find work and stay busy. Freelance Work Exchange, for example, brings you hundreds of fresh freelance jobs like these:

Write for Discussion Boards: $1200 per week, plus bonus
A writer is needed for an ongoing writing project. You will need to write copy to stimulate others into joining the discussion board. The writer needs to actively encourage regular and meaningful debate on the relevant discussion board, with some moderating of the content. You must have solid writing skills and good ideas.

Administer a Web Business from Home: $4000 per month
A successful e-commerce venture is seeking a part-time virtual assistant to act as a home-based office manager. You will deal with email correspondence, update site content and deal with general admin issues. You should have your own computer and Internet access.

Regarding paid surveys: it depends on your "Focus Group", there are groups earning more then others.

Usually when you join a survey company you need to answer a lot of questions first about your own profile. I.e. if you have stated that you have a high income, you will get other Surveys as those people with lower income.

This may be the reason why some people are earning good money with surveys and others. not.

I have published an Article about this topic in:
http://www.101homebiz.com/paid%20surveys/paid-online-survey.html

By the way, you will find a link to free survey sites (no fees) as well.

Affiliate programs: this is probably the fastest way to earn some money, if combined with PPC Search Engines (Google, Overture), however this technique is not easy and if not applied properly you can lose money.

MLM& Co: as everything in Business: if applied properly with persistence and good guidance, you can earn a lot. However most of the companies don´t tell you that in the first phase you will not make any earnings and need to wait some time till the "break-even point". This demotivate a lot of affiliates bringing them to quit. But those who know the business, they earn a lot and can be financial independent.

Interesting literature here is "recruit your way to millions".

I have some information about in my website.

Good luck and happy earnings!

There is money to be made doing online surveys. But never pay anyone to sign up with survey companies. There are many free sites on the internet that give you lists of free to join survey sites that pay you cash.
I have found many of these free sites and the best one is http://www.survey-networks.com.
They give you descriptions to over 400 survey sites absolutely free.

I've read through three pages of posts on the topic of home business opportunities and I've heard a lot about surveys, free lance, and SFI. Don't get me wrong, I know SFI is a good business but it is not easy for someone who is new to home businesses.

You all need to do yourself a favor and check out these two programs:

You'll thank me. These are the best opportunities online - Guaranteed.

Post subject: Two Work From Home Options to Consider
For those of you who are looking for a more traditional type of job to do from home, you might consider a contractor position doing customer service. http://www.workathomeagent.com is a legitimate company that is currently hiring work from home contractors to take orders for Home Shopping Network. There is no fee to apply, in fact, you are never charged anything. You just have to pass all the online training tests and already have the proper home office equipment.

For the Network Marketing gurus, you should consider DirectMatches.com, http://www.directmatches.com/kendralynn. DirectMatches provides a powerful forum for business networking, employment, friendship, and dating with its unique Multi-Matchmaking service. You can advertise your business, product, or service, find romance or friends, and/or find jobs all in one community. It is free to sign up and fill out a comprehensive profile, and you can post pictures, video, and audio. Directmatches will also pay you to referr others who join with a paid membership. Check it out and take it for a test drive at no cost.

Are there companies out there that hire people to work at home that's legit that don't require telephone solictation or spamming?

There are plenty of them. In fact, only the scams and unethical businesses will allow spamming. Steer very clear of any opportunity that allows you to spam or encourages it.

Trent makes a good point.

I wanted to add that it's very difficult to make relevant recommendations to you if you don't tell us anything about your skills or experience. You are asking about companies that hire you to work from home, and while there are plenty of actual telecommute jobs out there, but they are all for highly specialized skills. Many of these jobs are in sales, but since that's not up your alley you might consider taking some courses to get the skills that are required for the jobs that are out there.

For example, another field where I see tons of telecommute jobs is programming and web design. So, it would be worth looking into getting those skills-- this is where the jobs are. There are many other jobs that can be done by telecommuting, but again without knowing more about what your skills, experience and interests are, it's impossible to really help you Neutral

Thanks for the link arradia. I've been looking for a site like yours for awhile. Do you personally work any of the Customer Service - Telemarketing Jobs? Any recommedations?

My experience has been that good survey companies just don't pay much. I work with one, but I get more from the products that they send me to try than I do cash. Still they will send me a check as soon as I reach $10 and the check is fast and good.

I also have a Cognigen agency, but if you are looking for instant income, this is not for you. It is something that you have to build. Even for the most experienced telecom pros it takes a year or so to get a steady income. Still, it is a good business to build. You sell products that people need and use, and the income for the most part is residual income. Sell them once, keep in touch once in a while, help with a problem now and again, and the money keeps coming month after month.

A third income stream comes from reselling domain names on the secondary market. But it is hard to find good names that will make anything at all on the wholesale market, so it is up and down.

The links on that page are mostly for people in the U.S. and I'm in Australia, so no, I don't work for any of those customer service or telemarketing sites/companies.

If you do a search on any particular company listed you should be able to find out some more information.

Sorry I can't make any recommendations for you.

Well, one of the scams that I ran into was where I had to find the recipients of MIP refunds. I bought lists upon lists that led nowhere. I wouldn't suggest trying this unless you know for a fact that it works. As for google weeding out scams. I don't think so. I don't think that they turn down a buck.

Hello everyone, I have been marketing online for a few years and I have learned that the only way to become successful with a home based business that involves creating a team is finding a program that is duplicable. http://www.eazyincome.net You can even call a toll free number and speak to a real live person to get started. Nobody is hiding behind a website because this company is for real. Once again http://www.eazyincome.net

There are a lot of ways making money from home using your computer.

These are some that I have found out.

1. paid to surf -- you need to shelve a little money in order to earn
2. paid to search -- this is still on its early stage, I wish it would last.
2. paid to click -- just minimal amount
3. paid to read -- just minimal amount
4. paid to review - just minimal amount
5. paid surveys - just minimal amount

You might also need a website.

1. Sell others product by being an affiliate
2. Sell your product
3. Earn thru adsense
4. Earn thru page impressions on your site by using banner ads

But I found out the best training one could get in making money over the internet is by joining SFI.

as benjiecadena has said

Quote:

There are many different ways to make money on line but they are hard to find, you know legitimate ones. I was fortunate to find one that works for me.

Yes it can all seem overwhelming to a newbie. However, it really isn't all that tough. Anyone willing to put in time and effort can learn all the basics in just a couple months and be very knowlegable in maybe 6 months.

Someone willing to put in that same time and effort could also be making a very good income in less than a year.

I do know of a solution for your troubles of creating a website, domain name, hosting, using html, etc...

It's called work at home hosting. My first site ever was hosted with them and is still today. I also have another one with them as well.

Just go to their website http://work-at-home-hosting.co.uk/ and you can read all that you get.

I highly recommend it for beginners because it makes things a lot easier for you.

You will need to have a business opportunity or affililate program before you get the work at home hosting though so they can put your links in the site.

I recommend Success University for that. You can see my link below...

Hi

I just thought that I would share my discovery with those of you who are interested in making some extra money online in your spare time.

I've come across four legitimate opportunities whereby you can work from home. As far as I can tell however, these offers will not supplement a full time job income. You can definatly make some extra spending money on the side (as I have) through these sites and the best part of it is that you will never give these people a credit card number or money. It's as simple as joining and discontinuing participation if you discover it's not for you. Basically these offers involve reading emails, surveys and refering other people to join the site through a link you're provided with. The sites are below if you're interested. Good luck

Hi nicky003,

These business models you mentioned generate LINEAR INCOME. With these businesses, when you stop working, income stops. Better stick to a 9-5 job. My suggestion: don't touch any business that don't generate RESIDUAL and/or LEVERAGED INCOME.

You just have to remember that it doesn't happen right away. Just because you sign up for something doesn't mean you'll have the money flooding in straight away. Take the time to set things up properly and make sure you understand what it is you're doing. It might take a week or a month but it does work. Don't just give up after a day because it's more effort than you thought.

5 Ways to Boost Your Affiliate Checks

Promoting affiliate programs is one of the most rewarding and easy ways to earn money online. Regardless of your knowledge or experience in internet marketing, you can easily earn money online with affiliate programs. Promoting affiliate programs allows you to work part time or full time, earn money online and build an attractive residual income.

Although marketing affiliate programs is the best way to earn money online, many people fail to earn the huge amounts of money they desire. This article presents the essential tips that can help anyone to earn money line through increasingly large amounts of affiliate commissions.

Article writing and distribution. Articles are the most effective way for promoting your affiliate programs and easily earn money online. Write high quality, informative and attention-grabbing articles and submit them to all the main article directories. E-zine Articles is one of my favorite article directories with a high PR (Popularity Rank). Your articles that are posted in article directories will get picked up and appear on search engines such as Google when people are searching for information that is related to your article. By simply writing articles that have a resource box with a link to your website and affiliate link, you will be able to drive massive volumes of traffic to your website, hence boosting your sales and affiliate cheques. If you have time to write articles, you can easily start to earn money online with affiliate programs. If you write more articles, more targeted buyers will read them and visit your website; hence your sales and commissions will increase.

Aim to have multiple keywords relating to your affiliate programs in each article. The more keywords you have in your articles relating to your online business, the better positioned you get on Google for the keywords in your article. If your affiliate programs relate to earning money online, other key words that you can use in your article are “earn money at home”, “earn money working online”, “work from home” and “home business” among others. When people looking for ways to earn money online type those key phrases outlined above, it means your article will come up top on the search engines. By ranking highly for 3 key phrases relating to your business instead of just 1 means that you will multiply your efforts, boosting traffic to your website and increase your affiliate commissions. This is a powerful technique that can double traffic to your website, increase your sales, boost your affiliate commission and help you successfully earn money online.

Offer an additional services or help in addition to the affiliate programs that you promote. To earn money online easily with affiliate programs, you must offer a quick start guide and give your prospects extra attention. Most people do not know about the affiliate program you promote, so you must go the extra mile and offer help in explaining the program and answer any questions. Your guide can offer guidance on how people can start to earn money online with the affiliate program you are promoting. While giving some help, you are also promoting your online business and help your affiliate cheques to rocket.

Create a Blog. A blog will help you earn money online because it means you have fresh and unique on your website, which drives large volumes of traffic to your website. On your blog, you can then have reviews of your affiliate programs and your affiliate links, which further drives traffic to your website.
Build and develop strong contact with your sub-affiliates and prospects. You can easily earn money online with affiliate programs by making sure that your own affiliates are well motivated to grow their business, which in turn increase your commission cheques through residual income. Simply by giving your affiliates the appropriate motivation and support, you will see your passive income increasing every month.

By following the steps outlined above in promoting your affiliate programs, you will see your affiliate commissions increase rapidly. Start to earn money online today with affiliate programs.

Take care
