Hi,

Doesn't look like many people have frequented this section but I'll try anyway. My question is about the type of school I should go to.

I've been thinking of doing MT but in my area there are no colleges that offer this. I know I can take classes online but how do employers view this? Would they be more likely to hire someone who actually took classes at a school or would they be less inclined to hire someone who did all their coursework online?

Any and all opinions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Internet has paved way for online classrooms. Today many working professionals prefer to go for online degrees due to their work commitments. Usually working professionals go for thee degrees to enhance their management skills. Many nationally recognized universities are offering full programs as well as online ones. Most of the professors who teach online courses have commented that the quality of assignments by online student are better than traditional student who is physically attending a class. Therefore employers do consider online degrees.

Online training courses are very popular due to its timing. You can do it from your home. They will send you materials, lessons needed before starting any transcription job/business. Google 'transcription certification courses'.
