In the past I had only found one survey company that paid and it was $5 per survey. Good for a little gas money or incidentals. Pineconeresearch.com. Not sure if they are taking any more survey takers right now.

i've had friends that have tried these things. they were all scams. there might be some that are not.. but it is probably difficult to find. Smile

Of course it's possible to make money doing surveys. I do it all the time. Here is the problem...people have caught onto the fact that there are a whole lot of people out there searching for ways to do surveys and get paid for them. So what do they do? They advertise and call their junk "surveys" knowing it will rope people in. And, in doing so, give the legit surveys a bad name.

I do surveys all the time and happen to be lucky enough to make some nice side money doing it. So if you have questions about specific sites, please let me know, chances are I have checked them out and would be happy to offer my opinion.

Interesting question

A couple of years ago I signed up for about 15 on-line survey companies. I wasn't approached once. I thought that maybe my profile may have been too boring (LOL), or maybe because I'm from New Zealand and it's more for the bigger continents???

many online survey companies are fake, some are legit but all you can make is around a dollar in a hour.

Only people from the USA, Canada & Uk will earn the most money from online surveys.

For other regions, you can make more money by promoting the survey sites as most of them have referrals programs...

I have joined many of these survey sites. They are a waist of time. Most of these survey sites do not pay you cash to answer their surveys. They only offer you entries in contests, chances to win prizes, etc. I wouldn't recommend them

I have been online for 48 hours taking surveys and the only thing I have gotten is confirmations for rewards and points. NO MONEY. it is definitely a waste of time.

Surveys are time consuming! give yourself a break for a few and look for a solid online business. They are out there.

Anyways, There are definitely companies that pay you to take their surveys, but it's not something you're going to make any significant money with. It is, however, an easy way to make a few extra bucks here and there.
