I am doing very well in my network marketing business. In fact, despite the fact that I only started in August, I am considered to be one of the leaders.

But, recently I have been asked to help someone with selling his wholesale products. He has been marketing his products on ebay and he started this past summer. He owns his company, but has had some difficulty getting a market here in the US.

The problem is that to mail products from outside of the US is costly to him. He is doing well on ebay. In fact, he has a status of a power seller; whatever that is. I did some research and it is supposed to mean that he is recognized as being someone who has a reputation as knowing what he is doing and is very professional.

Anyway, my point is he has asked me to help him with marketing his merchandise here in the US. He will show me what he is doing and get me to start making some income. Once I have started making money and am comfortable with the ebay arena, we would then begin our official business relationship.

He has already mailed me some merchandise to help me get started. He is sending me the merchandise for free.

Does anybody have any advice for me before I begin? It is only a part-time gig, but who knows; if I start making pretty good money, I may put a little more time into it. I won't give up my network marketing business though. It is where the true residual income will be coming from.

Any response would be greatly appreciated...

Write a listing for a couple of items and see how it goes. eBay have very comprehensive tutorials on how to get started from registering to listing your merchandise to managing the auction.

eBay is the world’s leading online marketplace for discounted merchandise ranging from garage sale items, to fine collectibles all manner of new products. These items are sold by individuals and small businesses that operate eBay stores - and people are raking in big bucks by selling on eBay.

But as with running any small business, there are some challenges you should be aware of as you consider starting an eBay business. The marketplace is vast. There are lots of competitors vying for the attention of buyers, and there are fundamental issues to deal with, such as financing, warehousing and fulfillment.
