Both types of links are beneficial for a website but Do follow links are more beneficial. Do follow links are the links that pass the link juice and contribute in increasing page of the landing page and no follow link only contributes in improving traffic. But both the links provide back links to the targeted page.
Dofollow links are authority links and they mean that the site where dofollow link is placed is passing its link juice to your site. Dofollow links improve your search engine rankings. They are mainly in text links and are considered quality links.
Nofollow links are low priority and are not authority links. The links you get from commenting on blogs are nofollow. You can get traffic from those links but they do not affect your search engine rankings. |

Do follow link helps crawler to go beyond and no follow link does not allow to go beyond the crawler. So that way do follow links counted in the calculation of PR of any website. Thus we can say Google gives first preference to Do follow links |

I think do follow links are very useful because Do Follow Link has a special HTML Markup inside that tells the Search Engines like Google to FOLLOW the destination inside the link. |
