Hi, I had a few auctions ended by eBay last week, here is my response to
eBay listed below... Obviously one of my competitors reported me, because there was, and still are hundreds of auction listings doing the same thing... I.E. Selling downloadable information products?
Anyway the rest is self explainitory... Anyone had this happen to them before?

The way I see it is eBay only ends auctions that someone reports, otherwise they would be ending hundreds of auctions everyday for the same reason.

So now I am only selling software on CD, until they change their policy

*********************

I will relist these items with CD copy , US postal mail delivery only.
I am a copyright owner of the products.
And gave the buyer the option for CD.
I do understand why they where ended though, and will comply

Frankly I just think eBay removed them because they are 120 day store listings,
yes they did give the buyer the option to download, but if you are going to do it to me, why don't you go end the 594 + listings , and the hundreds of others in stores, that you get when you search on the terms "resale rights", or "resell rights".

Why don't you go end those? They give a download option, isn't that a violation of your policy?

eBay's double standards never cease to amaze me, no wonder so many people closeed their eBay stores. I contemplated it, but I did not. Now I am having second thoughts.

Yes - eBay constantly end auctions without proper explainations & do so when other members report you. However, they also have applications to spot potential violations. You should read the interview with an ex-ebay employee at: http://www.workwinners.com/newsletter/050509.htm#art2
