Hi all, I'm advised by Forex that I should install FireFox to enable me to log in to their main site... Do I need to un-install Internet explorer first, or will the two browsers run side by side? |

Yes, you can have them both. I have both and use them both. When you download firefox you will just get another icon/image on your desktop, then you can use either that one or IE to browse the web.
Hope that helps.

Thanks for the replies, people...
I have installed FireFox, and it woerks just fine. Just one more tool to use.
Unfortunately I still cannot log in to Forex members site - which was the purpose of the excercise in the first place. Plus; I can't get to them for help either... You can't get to the help desk without logging in...
Catch 22 all over again!
Anyway, thanks guys. Nick106b. |

Livingroom you are a complete SPAMMER! You posted this exact same post in every single section of the forum. Something like 20 times and most of the time it was completely off whatever topic was being discussed.
All of them have been deleted in the sections I am a moderator of. I can assure you that if I was a mod of all the sections of the forum all your posts would be deleted (including this one).
Do not spam here anymore or you will be banned! |

Hi
Yes....I think I went a bit over the top yesterday....it was my first day here at the forum, and I wanted to start off the show with a bang!
I can assure you, that you won't see that kind of spam-posting from me again in the future!
I must say though, that what I wrote in those posts is very true, these sites have worked really well for me. But yes they did not belong in all the forums where I posted them.
Thanks for not banning me!

Lots of my friends and colleagues use firefox. I have had issues with it whenever I try to run it.
I've been on a pc all my life however recently I purchased the new MAC and am loving the SAFARI browser.
The only thing I don't like about the MAC is no "right click."
Anyway, I'd be curious to know how to run firefox without the hangups that I have experienced.
Thanks.
Glenda. |

you can have both, even you can have more than 6 browsers in the same system, ie, firefox, safari, opera, maxthon, chrome, etc. All them running side by side, but not the same. |
