As a matter of interest: I have a site that I have been trying to position as an authority site. It has a lot of outbound links to authority sites related to my topics. About four months ago I nofollowed all of those links to see what effect it would have on my Google rank. So far... none whatsoever! |

How are you measuring your "google rank"? Are you tracking your SERPs or just concentrating on your google pagerank? |

It is intended to reduce the effectiveness of certain types of search engine spam, thereby improving the quality of search engine results and preventing spamdexing from occurring. |
