E-mail Marketing Network Marketing is one of the most successful and controversial business opportunities in the marketplace today.

Most of the controversy that surrounds Network Marketing revolves around myths that flood the internet. Many people become disenchanted with the business opportunity based on reading false information that is ever so prevalent on the World Wide Web. Here are a couple of those myths and why they are not true.

You Are Asked to Recruit Friends and Family: When Network Marketing started it was common to use friends and family as a way to recruit for your organization. As with most businesses in which family members or close friends work together many a business partnership ended in total failure and the friendships were forever damaged as well. Fortunately nowadays certain recruiting methods are not needed. This is so because there are so many people each day looking to start their own home based or Network Marketing business. These are people you know are actively seeking an opportunity and it will make it easier when you approach them to join your organization. It is estimated that 2 million people per day actively online searching for such ventures.

You Have to Invest a Boatload of Cash to Get Started: As with any business genre there are many Network Marketing biz ops out there. Each require a certain amount of investment capital to get started. Compared to franchise opportunities these types of business require very low overhead to get started. Misconceptions of the amount invested when started come from people who do not realize that it actually costs some money to get a business started. They buy into get rich quick schemes and expect fast unreasonable results. If you make an uneducated investment you will most likely panic and get frustrated when returns are not what you expect, this investment is no different.

Only Those Who Get in Early Make Money: I have never understood why people think this way but many do. This is surprisingly one of the Top 3 questions I get from new reps. If the company you will be representing is a legitimate company with a strong market for their products then it shouldn’t matter when you get in. on the flip side of that if a company is solely in business as a scam and is just trying to get money as fast as they possibly can, this myth could definitely hold true. Stereotyping all Network Marketing opportunities as this way is just plain old not true.

To often in today’s society we cannot separate what is a legit business opportunity and what is to good to be true. This is the #1 single factor in why people become disgruntled with the Network Marketing industry as a whole. Educate yourself on the ins and outs of a particular venture before investing large amounts of capital into it. Be the judge yourself when evaluating if this biz op is right for you, consider the facts and you will make the decision that is best for you and your family.
