Find out why many people never find an opportunity that is right for them!
Could you recognize a golden opportunity if it was hand delivered to you?

Who wouldn’t have wanted to be one of the first to invest in Amway, IBM, Microsoft, Dell, or any number of other fortune 500 companies? How many times have you thought; "if only I had gotten involved in that company years ago I could have made a fortune?" Hindsight is 20/20, but it won’t make you wealthy!
Why is it that some people seem to have a knack for picking winning opportunities while most others just keep missing the boat? Can they see into the future? Is it blind luck? Do they have a secret method? Obviously there could be several answers to these questions but one important difference between these individuals and those who don’t find their Golden Opportunity is…SKEPTICISM!
We develop a skeptical attitude from misleading advertisements we see everyday. These messages usually start with something like;
You have just WON a ….
Because you’re such a great customer we are going to GIVE YOU…
You have been selected to receive a FREE…
While I can’t argue with the fact that this type of advertising is effective at getting people to read their offer, in my way of thinking it does much more damage than it does good. The sheer volume of misleading advertisements that we see each week, builds a strong skepticism of all business offers. Many people don’t even bother reading offers anymore; they simply assume there is a “hook” because the offer looks too good to be true. once we become accustomed to being leery of all offers, how would we recognize a truly good deal? This is the true damage this type of advertising does to all of us!
We live in a society that is constantly improving our standard of life. What was difficult many years ago is now easily dealt with by advances in science, manufacturing techniques, or good old fashioned ingenuity. Isn’t it conceivable that someone could invent a better way to make income? Of course it is, as a matter of fact there are good opportunities already available.
Most people don’t realize their skepticism actually prevents them from being able to take advantage of the best and latest opportunities. Think about this a minute, the better an offer is the more likely many people will shy away from it simply because it looks too good! Publisher's Note : As a example, I have much better results when I use the FREE gateway than when I use the SIM gateway to recruit people into SFI - The SIM bundle gives away a lot of stuff free, but no one will believe this and they will be so keen to find a catch somewhere that they will be unable to focus on the opportunity that SFI brings to their door. While the law of abundance states that "Give and you shall recieve" - the law of humanity seems to be "There is no such thing as a free lunch"!
Successful people are different, they constantly look for better opportunities and they use logic to come to a decision instead of emotion. They are intrigued by new technologies or ideas and often they will invest in them while they are new and fledgling companies, while the skeptic will always sit back and say; “well let’s see how others do with this first then maybeI will invest.” Has your mind been closed by skepticism? If so, has it led you to great wealth? Not likely! Consider the old saying; nothing ventured, nothing gained, does this describe your business life?
I’m not suggesting that you blindly dive into every offer that comes up but I am suggesting to you that you should let logic and reason guide your business decisions. Recognize the skepticism that you have developed over the years and keep it in check. If you can’t find a logical reason why you shouldn’t get involved with a business opportunity then why not go for it? When looking at opportunities here are a few questions you can ask yourself that will lead you down the right path.
1. Could this business make me successful?
2. Is the product, service, or information what other people are likely to want also?
3. Exactly what will I risk if I decide to get involved?
4. Is there a way I can limit my risk?
5. What are the possible rewards of taking advantage of this business opportunity?
6. Am I basing my decision on the facts presented or am I basing it on my feelings, someone else’s recommendation, or past performance of a similar company?
7. How much time and effort will I have to put in?
8. Do I have the skills necessary for success in this opportunity?
9. Am I willing to do what is required for success with this business?
10. Can I financially afford to participate in this opportunity?
The importance of each one of these questions is different for each of us depending on our situation. To someone just starting out in business, risk, cost and skills are often of primary concern. To those who already have successful businesses that are looking for more opportunities, how much time and how much potential income may be the key questions for them. In either case doing our homework and investigating a potential business is the only way to come to a logical decision. Yes, this may require us to invest some of our time before making a business decision but do you really want to make a decision without answering these basic questions?
Let go of your fears, prejudices and skepticisms, put logic to work for you. Now is a good time to show you an example of what I am talking about here.
